There are no problems we cannot solve together; and very few that we can solve by ourselves.---President Lyndon Johnson

You can do what I cannot do.  I can do what you cannot do.  Together we can do great things. ----Mother Teresa

Some people see things the way they are and ask why, and others dream things that never were and ask why not?--- Robert Kennedy

There are many hills to climb, let's chart it out together.

Every child with a disability that impacts his/her ability to learn, is entitled to a Free Appropriate Public Education to meet their unique needs and prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living--20 U.S.C. 1400.

Children's Advocacy Resources for Education was established to protect the rights of children with disabilities and to ensure the effectiveness of efforts to educate them.  We are committed to working with the school to achieve measurable progress on meaningful goals that have been made for your child.  The data has to be there to ensure that progress is being made, if not, then other alternatives need to be explored.  We can discuss these options at an initial consultation.

Your child may be struggling in school due to his/her disability.  It is up to the school to assist you in identifying how your child learns and to craft an Individualized Education Plan to lay out goals and objectives in order for your child to make progress. We can assist in this process either by advising you, or directly representing you.  It is your choice.  Every case is unique just as every child is unique.  Each and every decision is to be made based upon the child's individual educational requirements, not on the label given to the student's disability.
